Privacy notice
What we collect, who gets it and how long we keep it. Written to match how the site actually works.
Who we are
Lake Ozarks Floor Coatings handles estimate requests for flooring projects. Contact: [email protected].
What the estimate form collects
- What you type: name, phone number, city or ZIP code, project type and project details. Email and approximate size are optional.
- Your consent: the exact consent wording version and the time you agreed.
- Where the request came from: the page you sent it from, the first page you landed on during that visit, the website that referred you (domain only, like google.com), and any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source and similar, plus ad click IDs such as gclid or fbclid). These tell us which pages and ads bring requests.
We don't ask for your street address, and the form doesn't accept photos or files.
What we don't keep
We don't store your IP address with your request. To stop spam, the server turns your IP address into a scrambled code using a secret key and uses it to count requests from one connection. Codes older than two days are deleted automatically as new requests come in. Our hosting provider may log IP addresses for security under its own policy.
The site sets no cookies. It uses your browser's session storage to remember where your visit started and to show your reference number after you send the form. That data stays in your browser and clears when you close the tab.
Who receives your request
- Lake Ozarks Floor Coatings, to review and route it.
- One independent flooring contractor chosen for your area, so they can contact you about this project. Once they have it, they handle it under their own business and privacy practices.
- Service providers that run the site: web hosting and the database (Cloudflare), and the email or messaging service that delivers the request to us. They process it only to provide that service.
The flooring business receiving your request may pay us for the introduction. We send your request to one contractor for this project and don't give it to anyone else for marketing.
How we contact you
By sending the form you agree to this: "I agree that Lake Ozarks Floor Coatings and one independent flooring contractor it sends my request to may contact me by call, text or email about this project. This is not a sign-up for marketing." That covers this project only. It is not a marketing sign-up. Tell whoever contacts you to stop and they should stop.
Phone calls
Calls to the number on this site go through a call-tracking service (CallRail) and are forwarded to the contractor. Calls may be recorded; you'll hear a notice at the start of the call. We keep the call log (number, time, length) and any recording to handle your request and check call quality.
Analytics
This site does not currently load any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
How long we keep it
We keep requests as long as we need them to route them and track whether they led to a job, and no longer than 24 months. We check at least every three months and delete anything older. Copies sent by email sit in our inbox and the contractor's; we delete ours when we delete the request, and the contractor keeps theirs under their own practices.
Your choices
Contact [email protected] to ask what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Include your reference number if you have it. We'll answer within 30 days. We can't delete what the contractor already has, but we'll tell you who that is so you can ask them.
Security
Requests are sent over HTTPS and stored in a private database. The owner view is password protected. No system is perfect, so don't put anything sensitive in the details box.
Children
This site is for property owners and managers. It is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If how we handle requests changes, we'll update this notice and the date at the top.
